I support people navigating anxiety, addiction, depression, stress, burnout, relationship challenges, and everything in between.

Hi, I’m Zanna.
I’m a Registered Social Worker providing online therapy to individuals and couples across Ontario, Manitoba & Nova Scotia.
Before starting private practice, I spent several years working on the front lines with people experiencing complex mental health and substance use challenges. I also bring lived experience with addiction, insomnia, and anxiety, which contributes to the empathy and perspective I bring to my work.
These experiences shaped how I approach therapy — meeting people where they are, without judgment, and focusing on what’s actually helpful in real life.
I see therapy as a collaborative process. My role isn’t to tell you what to do, but to help you make sense of what’s going on, understand patterns that might be working against you, and develop tools that help things feel more manageable.
I draw from a handful of approaches like Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and harm reduction, but I strive to keep therapy practical and grounded. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being honest about what’s going on and supported in figuring out what you want to change.
I work with people who are navigating addiction, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, insomnia or just feeling stuck in patterns they want to change.
As a Jewish therapist, I understand some of the cultural, family, and intergenerational dynamics that are part of Jewish life. I’m also mindful of how current events are impacting many Jewish individuals and communities, and how that can show up emotionally.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step.
If you’re considering it, you’re already moving in the right direction. If you’re curious about working together, I’d be happy to connect for a consultation.

The fee for a standard 50-minute session is $150 for individuals and $230 for couples. I do offer a sliding scale for those who are under-insured or uninsured.
Please ask me for more information if this is something that you require.
After each session you will receive a receipt that you can submit to your insurance provider if your plan includes coverage for therapy with a Registered Social Worker.
Please reach me at zanna.seippkatz@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Yes. Research has shown that online therapy can be just as effective as in-person therapy for many concerns, including anxiety, stress, depression, addiction, relationship challenges, and all the other human experiences that you may be seeking support with.
Many people also find it easier to attend sessions consistently when they don’t need to travel, which can make therapy more accessible and sustainable.
Online therapy is similar to in-person therapy, except we meet through secure video or over the phone. Whichever you feel most comfortable with.
During sessions we talk about what’s been going on in your life, what feels difficult, and what you’d like to change or better understand. Many people find that after the first session, online therapy feels surprisingly natural.
No, you don’t need a referral to begin therapy. You can reach out directly to schedule a consultation.
Some insurance plans may require a referral for reimbursement, so it can be helpful to check with your provider if you’re unsure.
People come to therapy for many different reasons. Some are navigating anxiety, stress, grief, or feeling overwhelmed. Others may be dealing with substance use, relationship challenges, burnout, or major life transitions.
Sometimes people come in with a clear goal, and other times they simply know something isn’t feeling quite right. Both are completely valid places to start.
Yes. For many Jews, concerns about antisemitism, identity, community, family, grief, safety, and current events can have a significant impact on emotional well-being. These experiences are welcome in therapy and can be explored without needing to explain or justify why they matter.
As a Jewish therapist, I understand that current events and their impact on the Jewish community can affect people in different ways. Therapy can provide a space to process these experiences when they are relevant to your goals and well-being.
The 15-minute consultation is a chance for us to briefly connect and get a sense of what you’re looking for support with.
I’ll ask a few questions about what’s been going on, share a bit about how I work, and we can see if it feels like a good fit.
There’s no pressure or commitment — it’s simply an opportunity to ask questions and get a feel for working together.
Yes, I currently provide virtual therapy to individuals and couples across Ontario, Manitoba, and Nova Scotia.
This includes Toronto, Ottawa, London, Kingston, Kitchener-Waterloo, Winnipeg, Brandon, Selkirk, Halifax, Cape Breton, Dartmouth, and surrounding areas. Sessions are available by secure video or phone.
The first session is mostly about getting to know each other and gathering some background information so I can better understand what’s been going on in your life.
I’ll ask questions about different areas such as family, relationships, work, health, and other factors that might be affecting how you’re feeling. This helps me get a clearer picture of your life and what may be contributing to the challenges you’re experiencing.
You don’t need to prepare anything ahead of time or worry about what I might ask — there’s nothing to study for. They’re simply questions about your life that you already know the answers to.

After each session you will receive a receipt that you can submit to your insurance provider if your plan includes coverage for therapy with a Registered Social Worker.
Many extended health insurance plans reimburse therapy provided by Registered Social Workers.
Coverage varies depending on your specific plan, so it can be helpful to check with your provider to confirm whether services from a Registered Social Worker are included.
Many people begin with weekly sessions, especially at the start of therapy. Meeting regularly helps build momentum and creates space to explore what’s going on more deeply.
Over time, some people shift to bi-weekly, monthly or occasional sessions depending on their goals and needs.
This is actually very common. Many people worry they won’t know where to start.
You don’t need to prepare anything ahead of time or have everything figured out. Part of my role is helping guide the conversation. We can start with whatever feels most present for you that day and take things from there.
If you’re considering therapy, the first step is simply reaching out.
